Jumoul Sancho is a servant of God and a friend to man. He came from a humble beginning who believes that regardless of how you start, you can finish strong. He is a fourth-generation Seventh-day Adventists who grew up at the Golden Grove SDA Church on the East Coast of Demerara. He has great respect for women due to the critical roles his mother Cherelene-Ann Thompson and Grandmothers Alexis Thompson and Sylvilene Sancho have played in his life.
He is madly in love with his adorable wife, Mignon Erika Sancho, who serves as the Coordinator of the University of the Southern Caribbean, Guyana Campus. God has blessed this Union of 11 years with three living children namely: Joel (9), Jonathan (7), and Janae (4). Their last daughter Jael was born dead on July 22, 2018, but consistent with Ellen White’s encouragement, they are expecting an angel to bear little Jael in her mother’s arms in heaven.
Pastor Sancho has cooperated with God in his Christian, academic and professional life and God he has blessed him with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Andrews University, and a Master’s Degree from the Inter American Division Theological Seminary.
The Lord has used him mightily as a ministerial intern, a district pastor, the director of Sabbath School, Personal Ministries, Community Services as well as the Assistant to the President for Evangelism in the Guyana Conference. His spiritual gifts are Pastoral Ministry and Leadership, Evangelism, Helps, Encouragement and Faith. Thanks to Pastor Philip Bowman, his Ministerial Intern Supervisor, Family Life, and Stewardship are additional emphasizes in his ministry.
Pastor Sancho, was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Guyana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in April 2019 and was later appointed as the ASI Coordinator of the Guyana Conference.
